Role Responsibility

  • Collaborating with other team members to understand requirements and to design, implement and document software solutions.
  • Pairing to write and test software to address system functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Using continuous integration systems for automatically building, testing and deploying software components.
  • Using AWS cloud technologies to implement operational infrastructure for hosting our systems.
  • Troubleshooting and fixing operational problems with our systems in production.
  • Voluntary participation in out of hours support for our critical systems

Are you the right candidate?

  • Experience programming in Java within a continuous integration and continuous delivery context.
  • Experience programming with other languages (e.g. Python or Ruby) is desirable.
  • Experience in the use of agile methodologies and across the full product lifecycle.
  • Effective at collaborating within a team – able to speak up, challenge, agree and commit.
  • Skilled in developing for operational concerns (reliability engineering, monitoring, performance testing, security considerations)
