DUTIES:
Basic Function of the Position – The incumbent serves as the primary point of contact for internal embassy disaster risk reduction and preparedness. S/he will maintain emergency kits located at different locations on the embassy compound as well as at the residences in the city. Maintains and updates information and guidance on the Disaster Preparedness SharePoint including the Emergency Action Plan (EAP) and the Disaster Response Plan: Earthquake (DRP:E). The incumbent must be an astute planner/coordinator and manage all aspects of disaster-related programming across US Government Agencies at Post and increases emergency response preparedness of the embassy community through training and raising awareness. S/he will work closely with the Emergency Preparedness Working Group (EPWG) who are also responsible for coordinating earthquake preparedness across USG agencies and offices at post. Works in shifts (morning/evening or weekends) and performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor
